HYDACHEIUM OIL(KAPOOR KACHRI OIL)

Hydacheium Oil is also popularly known as KapoorKachri. This oil is extracted from Hydacheium that grows up to 3 feet tall. It has loose terminal flower spikes that have individual flowers that are yellow with reddish stamens. Its antibiotic properties have also increased interest in the medicinal properties of the species.

The oil blends well with the Lavender, Clary Sage, Geranium, Cajeput, Cedarwood, Cassia oils. This essential oil consists of Terpineol, Limonene, Caryophyllene as the key constituents. The flowers of this plant are extensively used by florists for their vivid colors that resemble daisies. This oil has brown colour with floral aroma.

This oil has carminative, tonic, stimulant, anti-inflammatory and anti-asthmatic properties. The essential oil is also used in perfumery industry.

This oil is found to have vasodilatory effect on coronary vessels, mild hypotensive property and a non specific antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles.
